News Rajendra Tamang To Lead Gandaki Province Men's Football Team

Pokhara (GoalNepal) - The excitement of the upcoming ninth National Games is slowly heating up. Football at the National Games is being looked at as a very competitive affair. And Gandaki Province have chosen Rajendra Tamang to lead their men's football side at the National Games.

Coach Tamang has instructed his players to play for the nation. He told the media at the media center of the Pokhara Stadium on Sunday that he has instructed his players not to think about the allowances to the extent that it will affect their game.

Gandaki Province have a star-studded team with the majority of the players who play in the A Division League. 

 

"Since most of the players play professionally, they expect the same salary in the National Games. But I have told my players not to look for salaries like other times in the National Games and give their best", said Tamang. He also added that playing in the National Games is a great opportunity for the players.

The men's football at the Ninth National Games will be held at Gosteghat and Pokhara Stadium.
