India have qualified for the final of the SAFF U-17 Championship. India defeated Bangladesh 2-1 in the first semifinal of the tournament.

India will now face the winners between Nepal and hosts Sri Lanka in the tournament's final. Nepal and Sri Lanka will face each other later today at 8 PM local time.

Nepal are in the semifinals as the group B toppers after defeating Bhutan and India. Sri Lanka qualified after narrowly beating Maldives.

The final will be played on September 14.
