Basanta Gauchan, the president of the Nepal Japan Football Association, has resigned, and Shiva Khadka has been named acting president.

Basanta Gauchan, the president of the Nepal Japan Football Association, who has long supported football and various players in Japan, has resigned from the position of president of the association due to a busy schedule that requires him to stay in Nepal for an extended period of time. Shiva Khadka has been appointed acting chairman in place of Gauchan, according to General Secretary Manoj Shrestha.

Chairman Gauchan thanked all of Japan's friends, including players and high-ranking representatives, for their institutional and personal support.

Gauchan has also requested support in the coming days, stating that he will spend some time in Nepal before returning to Japan to resume his busy life. Gauchan also stated that he would spend some of Japan's busy time in Nepal, where he would work on football-related works.
