
Rolling Club, Jhapa have advanced to the semifinals of the 12th Itahari Gold Cup International Invitational Football Tournament.
In a competitive third quarterfinal held today in Itahari, Rolling Club defeated Avenir FC, Cameroon 2-1 to advance to the semifinals.
Avenir took the lead in the 27th minute through Kenny. But just a minute later, Fode Fofana equalised for Rolling. Martin scored late in the stoppage time to win the match for Rolling.
Rolling's Peter was named the man of the match and received Rs. 10,000.
In tomorrow's final quarterfinal, New Road Team will face Sagarmatha Youth Club, Morang.
The winner of the competition organized by Rastriya Jagriti Club, Itahari, Sunsari will get 7,00,000 rupees including the title and the runner-up will get 350,000 rupees.
