Bardibas XI have qualified for the semi-finals of the first-ever Bardibas Mayor Gold Cup 2078.

Bardibas defeated Dhanusa XI 2-1 to make it to the final four. Krishna Hari Rana and Sanjeeb Karki scored for Bardibas in the 39th minute and the second minute of first-half injury time while Rabin Yadav pulled one back for Dhanusa in the fourth minute of second half.

Sanjeeb Karki of Bardibas was also named the player of the match.

The winner of the tournament being organized in Bardibas, Mahottari will receive two lakh rupees while the runners-up will receive one lakh.
