Tribhuwan Army FC has emerged victorious today in the fourth invitational Amardaha Dhalkejoban Veterans Gold Cup 2078 going on in Sunsari.

They defeated Birat Mega Sports Academy 4-1 to advance to the semifinals.

Tek Bahadur Budathoki scored for Army in the second and tenth minutes of the first half. Chun Bahadur Thapa added another in the 11th minute. Bhakta Bahadur Bhandari pulled one back for Birat in the 23rd minute but Rajib Gurung restored a three-goal lead for Army in the 23rd minute of second half.

Chun Bahadur Thapa was named the player of the match.
