Ward No. 3 has entered the quarterfinals of the 4th Mayor's Cup Knockout Football Tournament with an exciting victory. Ward No. 3 defeated Ward No. 11 2-1 in the pre-quarterfinal on Thursday.

Suraj Sardar and Lokesh Siwakoti scored for Ward No. 3 in the match played at Shree Saraswati Ma.Vi. ground. On the other hand, Arabinda Urau scored the only goal for the defeated Ward No. 11.

Suraj Sardar of Ward No. 3 was declared Man of the Match. He received a cash prize of Rs 2,000 and a medal. According to the organizers, the match to be held on Friday will be between Ward No. 2 and 12.

The winner of the competition organized by Duhabi Municipality and in association with Eleven Arrows Club, Sunsari will get Rs. 1,01,000.
