
APF Football Club register a big victory against Manang Marshyangdi Club in the Martyr's Memorial A Division League. In the match held at the Dasharath Stadium, APF came back from a goal down to win 3-1.
MMC took the lead in the 37th minute through their skipper Anjan Bista. Goalkeeper Bishal Sunar's long pass evaded every defender and Anjan Bista reached to the ball before Yuya Kuriyama to head the ball into the back of the net.
But APF didn't take much time to equalize. Aashish Lama scored for APF in the 40th minute and brought the game back on level terms. APF then scored two more towards the end of the match.
Mani Lama finished off a pass from the left-hand side to put APF in the lead in the 80th minute. And six minutes later, skipper Nabin Lama pounced on a spill from MMC goalkeeper Bishal Sunar and put his team two goals ahead.
After this victory, APF have moved to eighth place on the table with 14 points while Manang stay second with 20 points.
NRT overcome Sankata
In the match held at ANFA Complex, New Road Team narrowly defeat Sankata Club. Stephane Binong scored for NRT in the 28th minute of the match.
With this win, NRT climb up to fifth on the table with 17 points while Sankata fall down to sixth with 15 points.
