News APF FC Women's Team Earns First Point In AFC Champions League

APF Football Club, which participated in the international club football competition for the first time, has been eliminated from the selection competition of the preliminary group stage of the ongoing AFC Women's Champions League.

APF, which is in Group C of the competition, shared the points by playing a goalless draw with the home team, Sawah FA of Malaysia, in their second match of the group on Wednesday.

Despite the draw, APF is out of the group stage. APF lost 0-1 against Nasaf of Uzbekistan in their first match.

In the last match of the group stage, Sawah and Nasaf will meet on 31 August. The result between these two teams will decide the winner of Group C.

Nasaf and Sawah, who played 1-1 matches in Group C, are in first and second place with 3 and 1 points respectively. Similarly, APF, who scored only 1 point from two games, has been eliminated from the group stage.
