The Chitwan District Football Association has begun a four-day football coach training program. Karma Tsering Sherpa, President of the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), inaugurated the training, which began today (Tuesday).

In his remarks at the program's launch, ANFA President Sherpa stressed the importance of education in conducting football in a scientific manner. He claims that the only way to become a skilled coach and produce skilled players is to obtain a football education.

The best trainers licensed by 'D' will be trained in 'C,' 'C' in 'B,' and 'B' in 'A,' according to him. According to Sherpa, ANFA has placed a strong emphasis on developing more football coaches.

Such training programs, according to Rajendra Mani Kafle, Ward Chairman of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-7, will be important because players will be produced through learning. He stated that the coach would be in charge of determining what type of player to produce. He also stated that football is gaining traction in Chitwan as a result of ANFA's activism. Ramji Dhakal, Secretary of the Chitwan District Sports Development Committee, expressed optimism that football in Chitwan would now reach new heights.

The training could not be organized on time due to corona, according to Krishna Karki, chairman of the Chitwan District Football Association. He stated that training is the most important aspect of football and that the focus should be on producing good players by putting the subjects learned in training into practice.

Ram Hari Dhakal, the General Secretary of the Chitwan District Football Association, said that 30 trainees from the same municipality are taking part in the four-day training. Sanjit Singh, the All Nepal Football Association's Head of Coach Education, and Nabin Maharjan, the All Nepal Football Association's Head of Youth Development, will coach them.

During the training period, the facilitators will be Suman Shrestha, a B-licensed District Football Association coach and former national player, and Channuram Chaudhary, an AFC Level One goalkeeper coach.
