News MOU Signed Between ANFA & Bharatpur Metropolitan City

A memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed between ANFA and Bharatpur Metropolitan City today in presence of ANFA President Karma Tsering Sherpa and Bharatpur Metropolitan City Mayor Renu Dahal.

As per the MOU, the first round of matches of the National Women's League 2078 will now be held in Chitwan from the second week of Chaitra and the maintenance and management of the grounds will be paid for by the Bharatpur Metropolitan City. The games will be held on grounds in the city's wards 7 and 19.

The tournament will feature eight teams: the Nepal APF Club, the Tribhuvan Army Football Club, the Nepal Police Club, the Waling Municipality, the Biratnagar Metropolitan City, the Chandrapur Municipality, the Dhangadhi Sub Metropolitan City, and the Lalitpur Metropolitan City. After reaching the finals of the Deputy Mayor Cup National Women's League Qualifiers held last year, Dhangadi Sub Metropolitan City and Lalitpur Metropolitan City qualified for the tournament.
