Taplejung District League: Manabhara & Kanchanjunga In The Final

Manabhara Sporting Club & Kanchanjunga Fungling Club have qualified for the final of the Taplejung District League with wins in today's semifinals.

In the first semifinal, Manabhara defeated Karnasingh Sonam FC 2-1 to reach the final. Deepak Limbu and Yubraj Labung scored for Manabhara in the 26th and 89th minutes respectively while Lahan Patangwa pulled one back for Karnasingh in the first minute of stoppage time after the end of ninety minutes.

In the second semifinal, Kanchanjunga defeated Chage Macchapokhari Hiti Club 2-0 to reach the final. Chris Rai and Bibek Rai scored for Kanchanjunga in the 36th and 62nd minutes respectively.

The winner between the two sides now will represent Taplejung in the provincial league.
