News Damak Ward Chairman's Cup: Pathari Sporting With A Brilliant Victory

Pathari Sporting Club won the third match of the First Ward Chairman's Cup, which was staged by Damak Municipality Ward No. 3 today. Pathari Sporting advanced to the competition's second round after defeating Kamal Village Municipality 2-0.

Pathari Sporting's Niroj Pariyar (Kauli) scored in the 13th minute of the first half. Kauli scored again in the eighth minute of the second half, and Pathari Sporting advanced to the next round. Kamal Village Municipality, on the other hand, was unable to capitalize on their chances.

Niroj, the two goal scorers in today's Man of the Match Pathari Sporting match, was named Man of the Match and won Rs 3,000 in cash. The game between Kathmandu's Samajik Football Club and Damak City Sports Committee will take place tomorrow.

The competition is being hosted with the help of Damak Municipality at the projected Madan Bhandari Stadium. The winner of the Ward Chairman's Cup, which includes eight teams, will receive a medal trophy and certificate, as well as Rs. 111,000 in cash, while the runner-up team will earn Rs. 55,000. A departmental cash prize will also be awarded to the competition's best player.
