5th Rajarshi Janak Cup Kicks Off; Piple Youth Club Enters SFs

5th Rajarshi Janak cup football tournament got underway at Santosh Shrestha memorial grounds, Bagmati, Sarlahi on Saturday.

Piple defeated Chandragiri municipality, Kathmandu 2-0 to enter semifinals. Glory scored the opener in 25th minute and Dipesh Ale Magar scored second in 31st minute. Ale Magar became the player of the match.

Central college Bharatpur FC will take on Nepal APF on Sunday.

The champions will get Nrs 10 lakh while runners up team will get Nrs 5 lakh.

Earlier, Province 2 CM, Lal Babu Raut inaugurated the event, which is jointly organized by Bagmati municipality & Bagmati yuwa club.
