4th Bagmati Gold Cup: African Roots Association Enters SFs

African Roots Association defeated Birtamod United 4-1 to enter semifinals of 4th Bagmati gold cup football tournament at Phaparbari, Makwanpur.

Nasseck scored a brace (20', 34') while Njimi (54') and Mnakop (64') scored apiece for the winners. Sunil Khadka scored one for the losing side.

Basseck became the player of the match and received NRs 5,000 cash.

Bagmati club, Sarlahi will play against Himalayan Sherpa Club on Tuesday.

Bagmati rural municipality sports development committee, Makwanpur is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of NRs 8 lakh.
