Minerva Punjab Plays 2-2 Stalemate With East Bengal FC

Minerva Punjab FC played 2-2 draw against East Bengal FC on Tuesday to remain the league leader of Hero I-League.

Nepal goalie Kiran Chemjong blocked Katsumi’s penalty kick in 50th minute.

Bhutanese international Chencho, who is on top form, and S. Singh scored apiece for the Punjab based club.

Justin scored for East Bengal. When Minerva FC was close to victory, Vanlalremdika equalized the score line in 89th minute.

With a draw, Minerva has 26 points from 12 matches and are five clear from NEROCA FC.
