No Referees From Nepal In SAFF Championship 2018 !

There are no referees from Nepal officiating matches in upcoming SAFF Championship 2018.

ANFA spokesperson Kiran Rai confirmed that there would be no referees from Nepal in the SAARC event.

"Currently, there are no elite referees in Nepal. AFC's referee department appoints elite referees for the big event", said Rai.

One referee said ANFA didn't nominate anyone for AFC elite referee program this year.

Bangladesh is hosting the event from September 4 in Dhaka.

Nepal are grouped with hosts Bangladesh, Bhutan and Pakistan. In another group, India are pitted against Sri Lanka and Maldives.
