Nepal, which was close to the title by maintaining its unbeaten winning streak from the group stage to the semi-finals, was defeated in the final of the SAFF U-20 Championship on Wednesday.

In the title clash at the ANFA Complex, Nepal lost 1-4 to the visiting team and the runner-up of the previous edition, Bangladesh.

In the match between these two teams who are in the same group towards the group stage, Nepal won 2-1 over Bangladesh.

However, Nepal could not continue that result and performance of the group stage on Wednesday.
