Opponent Watch: India Wins Title Of Hero Intercontinental Cup

Nepal's opponent in SAFF championship 2023, India has lifted the title of Hero inter continental cup football tournament.

India defeated higher ranked Lebanon 2-0 in the final match plaed on Sunda night in Bhubaneshowr.

Skipper Sunil Chhetri & Changte scored apiece for the winners.

India are ranked 101 while Lebanon are in 99th position.

Sandesh Jhingan, Indian defender became the player of the tournament.

India will now shift their focus to SAFF championship where they are grouped with India, Kuwait & Pakistan.
