SAFF U20 Championship: Nepal Suffers Humiliating Defeat At The Hands Of India

Nepal has suffered a humiliating defeat of 8-0 at the hands of India in SAFF U20 championship 2022.
Nepal started the game in a low note and conceded just a single before going to half time break.
Hopeless Nepal then conceded seven more goals in a frequent intervals.
P Gogoi scored a brace (50', 52') while Taison Singh (32'), Pathum Gimhana ( 64' ), H Jhangra ( 72' ), M Rikaz ( 78' ),
Gurkirat Singh ( 90' ), Subho Paul ( 90+4' ) scored apiece for the winners.
Bangladesh are atop with nine points while India and Nepal have six points each.
Nepal will play against Bangladesh while India will meet Maldives in their last match on August 2.
Top two teams from the round roubin matches will play the final on August 5.
