Sunil Chhetri Adjudged MVP, Dominates Individual Honors
India skipper Sunil Chhetri has been chosen as the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the SAFF Championship in the Maldives.
He had a stellar tournament where he netted five goals to become the highest goal scorer and to reach 80 international goals to go level with the Argentine Lionel Messi as the fifth highest goalscorer in international football.
He was also adjudged the man of the match of the final where he started proceedings by scoring the first goal in the 49th minute of the game.
