Peña Barça de Everest, also known as Barcelona Fan Club Nepal (Barça Nepal), has proudly achieved a milestone by becoming the officially recognized supporter club of FC Barcelona in Nepal. This momentous occasion was celebrated with a special get-together event organized by the dedicated supporter group, which has been a pillar of FC Barcelona’s fanbase in Nepal since its founding in 2013.
The event, held to commemorate this recognition, saw a gathering of over 100 enthusiastic supporters, along with prominent figures from the sports community. Secretary Sitaram Dahal welcomed the guests, including Chief Guest and former Nepali national football player Vikram Lama. President Prakash Gharti took the stage to unveil the new Peña Barça de Everest logo, symbolizing the official partnership with FC Barcelona.
A highlight of the evening was a moving video session featuring heartfelt messages from Nepali FC Barcelona supporters, who expressed their joy and appreciation for the official recognition of their fan club. The event was graced by notable sports personalities such as Hari Khadka, Gaurav Basnet, and national women's volleyball player Usha Bhandari, alongside special guests including Phim Bikram KC, Senior Vice President of E-Sports Association of Nepal (ISAAN), ISAAN Secretary Ashish Dahal, Board Member Ghanshyam Dhungel, and assistant coach of the Nepali National Futsal team, Thaman Bhusal.
As a token of celebration, attendees were gifted Peña Barça de Everest caps adorned with the iconic FC Barcelona symbol, marking the event as a memorable milestone in the club’s history.
