Bhagiman Singh Tumbahangphe BTFC Cup Kicks Off; Sankhuwasabha Beats Terathum
Bhagiman Singh Tumbahangphe BTFC cup got underway in Myanglung, Terathum on Monday.
Sankhuwasabha came from two goal down to beat Terathum 3-2 to enter second round of the championship.
Joyal Limbu scored a brace while Dipak Chauhan scored another for the winners.
Earlier, Santosh Limbu (6') and Bimal Gurung (16') scored to put hosts ahead in the match. But Joyal Limbu cut the deficit in 41st minute. He then scored his second in 48th minute.
Skipper Dipak Chauhan scored the match winner in 73rd minute.
Joyal Jimee became the man of the match.
Bhagiman Singh Tumbahangphe memorial trust is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of Rs 2,15,000.
10 teams are participating in the event.
