Match commissioner of 16th Aaha! RARA gold cup, Basanta Rijal, didn't allow three foreign recruits of Ruslan Three Star Club to play against Nepal APF CLub today for not having work permit available on ground.

Three Star Club played against Nepal APF Club in the third quarterfinal match of 16th Aaha! RARA gold cup in Pokhara, which they won 5-3 on pens.

Perter Segun, Marins and Lawal are the foreign players who couldn't play the match.

Interestingly, those players had played in two major tournaments earlier.

Sahara club media director Sudarshan Ranjit confirmed that the match commissioner Rijal stopped them from playing for not having necessary documents.

Coach Meghraj KC included them in the substitute list.

KC said the players would play next match as they have certificates in Kathmandu.
