Senior player Biraj Maharjan, striker Bimal Gharti Magar, Santosh Tamang, Aditya Chaudhary and Dinesh Rajbanshi have been included in 58-member preliminary squad announced by national team caretaker coach Bal Gopal Maharjan on Wednesday.
Nepal will begin closed camp on December 12 and will follow FIFA safety protocols before kicking off the training for upcoming FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 qualifiers and AFC Asian Cup 2023 qualifiers.
Nepal is yet to play against Chinese Taipei, Australia and Jordan at home in 2021.
According to ANFA, Bikram Lama will miss the camp due to muscular injury.
