
Bagmati FC has entered semifinals of 1st Karjanha deputy Mayor cup football tournament.
Bagmati FC sidelined Birgunj United 1-0 in a tight contest played on Tuesday at Bandipur, Siraha.
Krishna Karki scored the match winner in 35th minute of the game. Bagmati goalie Arun Blon stopped the last minute penalty to ensure a hard fought victory for the Karmaiya based club.
According to tournament coordinator Rakesh Shah, hosts Bandipur FC will play against Hardi Yuwa Club, Chitwan on Wednesday.
Babatal Youth Club & Bandipur FC are jointly organizing the event. Karjanha municipality ward number 2 is the main tournament organizer.
Eight teams from Bagmati province, Province 2 & province 1 are taking part in the event, which has a winning prize of NRs 2,22,000.
