All Nepal Football Association(ANA) has sent a letter to Makwanpur district football association to postpone its general assembly and election scheduled for today at Hetauda.

The letter issued by ANFA General secretary Dhirendra Pradha to Makwanpur DFA states, "According to the proposal send by our central representative, the environment for general assembly and election is not favorable yet. It is necessary to postpone the Makwanpur DFA general assembly and election until the issues of clubs are re-discussed and solved. We, therefore, request the DFA to postpone the assembly and election scheduled for today."

Nine clubs were supposed to take part in the assembly but central ANFA removed the name of two teams in the eleventh hour to get favor to their side. Five clubs out of nine have supported Tika Lama for the presidency.

The club officials protested against ANFA and ANFA Makwanpur this morning before the kick off of the assembly.
