Machhindra club has entered semifinals of 3rd Satashi gold cup football tournament in Jhapa.

Machhindra club defeared Gorkha Boys 2-1 in a tightly contested match played at Jhiljile, Jhapa.

Kazeem put Gorkha boys ahead in the match in 15th minute. Andreas Nea leveled the score for Machhindra in 25th minute.

White Lions took the lead through Bimal Gharti Magar who converted the spot kick in 33rd minute.

Magar became the man of the match and received Nrs 10,000 cash.

Satashidham will play against Three Star club in first semifinal match on Thursday.

The championship has a winning purse of Nrs 6 lakh.
