Nepal Army has entered semifinals of 3rd Satashi gold cup football tournament at Jhiljile, Jhapa.

Nepal Army defeated Manebhanjyang FC, Darjeeling 2-1 in quarterfinal match played on Tuesday.

Tek Bahadur Budhathoki scored both goals for the departmental side.

Budhathoki scored the opener in 6th minute of the match. Manebhanjyang, a local team from Darjeeling, leveled the scored in 47th minute through Raikat.

Budhathoki scored the match winner in the stoppage time.

Sesehang Aangdembe became the man of the match and received Nrs 10,000 cash.

Machhindra FC will play against Gorkha Boys tomorrow.

Shiva Satashi sporting club is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of Nrs 6 lakh.
