Hosts Kummayak sporting club has entered final of 3rd Kummayak gold cup football tournament at Yashok, Panchthar.

Kummayak defeated Phalelung municipality 6-0 in first semifinal match played on Saturday. Dinesh Sherma and Abhisek Limbu scored brace each while Lokendra Thapa and Hemanta Darnal scored apiece for the winners.

Darnal became the player of the match and received Nrs 3,000 cash.

In the last quarterfinal match, Miklajung defeated Falgunanda rural municipality 3-1 to enter last four.

Kummayak sporting club is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of NRs 1,11,111. Runners up team will get Nrs 55,555.

Kummayak rural municiaplity is the main sponsor with NRs 5 lakh.
