News Kailali: Far West XI Sports Club Collects Rs 19 Lakhs From Gate Money !

Far West XI Sports Club has collected ninteen lakh rupees from gate money of 2nd Far Western Gold Cup.

According to the tournament spokesperson Om Bikram Chand, a total of fifty thousand spectators watched the tournament by buying ticket.

Five thousand spectators had watched the inaugural match of the 11-day tournament while they had to close the ticket counters due to jam packed stadium in the final match. People had to watch the final match from the track of the stadium due to unavailability of space and tickets.

According to ticket management committee coordinator Dhruba Baral, opening day, first semifinal, second semifinal and final match generated Rs.1,60,000, Rs.2,70,000, Rs.2,47,000 and Rs.6,21,000 respectively.

Among the pre-quarterfinals, the match between Three Star Club and Nepal Army Club earned the highest which is Rs.1,90,000.

The organizers are excited to get huge support from fans despite poor weather condition. Eighteen lakh seventy thousand rupees was generated from ticket money during the tournament.

5000 gate passes were distributed for the tournament.

Ticket money was set for Rs.100 and Rs. 150 for the matches of the highest cash bounty mofasal tournament.

Far West XI sports club has already announced that they will giveaway Rs 21 lakh to the winners next edition.
