Nahada 1st Mayor cup got underway at Nahada, Sunsari on Sunday.
Belbari FC defeated Boys FC Itahari 1-0 in the opening match.
Karna Limbu scored the match winner and he received the man of the match award of Rs 2500.
Teams from various districts are participating in the championship.
