Jhapa: Nepal Police Sidelines Jhapa XI To Enter QFs Of Hamro Purbanchal Cup

Nepal Police Club has entered quarterfinals of Hamro Purbanchal gold cup football tournament in Birtamod, Jhapa.
Nepal Police defeated Jhapa XI 2-1 in pre-quarterfinal match played at Domalal Rajbanshi memorial grounds on Sunday.
Suman Lama and Saujan Yakha scored apiece for the winners.
Lama scored the opener in 13th minute through free kick. Saujan doubled the lead in 59th minute.
Jhapa skipper Yogesh Gurung scored one in 74th minute.
Saujan Yakhha became the man of the match and received Nrs 10,000 cash.
Akraman FC, Sikkim will play against Belbari FC Morang in quarterfinal match on Monday.
Zion sporting club is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of Nrs 12,50,000.
