Hosts Belbari blue stunned Urlabari 3-2 on penalties to enter semifinals of 1st Belbari mayor cup on Tuesday.

Both teams played 1-1 draw in regulation time before inviting a spot kick battle.

Jon Magar scored first for Belbari in 25th minute. Milan Dhimal equalized the score in 62nd minute.

Shankar Rai became the man of the match and received Nrs 2500 cash. Anil Timsina and Bijaya Dhimal wasted their kicks for Urlabari in tie breaker.

Belbari will play against Kerabari in semifinal match on Asar 19.

Sundar Haraicha will meet Pathari Sanischare in first semifinal match on Wednesday.

Belbari municipality is sponsoring the championship, which has a winning purse of Nrs 1,51,000.
