Belbari blue has entered quarterfinals of 1st Belbari mayor cup football tournament at Belbari, Morang.

Belbari defeated Biratnagar metro 2-1 to enter last eight on Sunday.

Jon Magar and Milan Pariyar scored apiece for the winners. Bijaya Paudel scored one for Biratnagar.

Pariyar became the man of the match and received Nrs 2500 cash.

Belbari municipality is sponsoring the event, which has a winning purse of Nrs 1,51,000.
