Jhapa District League Kicks Off: Sainik & Birtamod United Register Win

Jhapa district league got underway at Arjundhara ground on Monday.

Sainik youth and Birtamod United FC have won their respective matches in the opening day.

Sainik defeated Rolling club, Dhulabari 3-0 in the first match. Durlap Tiwari scored a brace (60', 63') while Bikesh Limbu (40') scored another for the winners.

In the second match, Birtamod United defeated Knight Chess club, Kakarvitta 1-0. Sumin Mainali scored the match winner in 65th minute.

Mechi Netralaya KFTC will play against New Star FC and Bahundangi FC will meet Birtamod FC on Tuesday.
