Red Star FC is organizing 1st ever Birtamod gold cup from Jestha 21 at Domalal Rajbanshi ground, Birtamod.

Eight teams are going to take part in the event, which has a winning purse of Nrs 1,51,111. Runners up team will get Nrs 75,111.

Man of the match will get Nrs 3,000. The best player in each category will get Nrs 5,000.

According to club's secretary Prem Krishna Shrestha, the most valuable player of the tournament will get Nrs 10,000.

Participating teams are:

Jalthal FC Jhapa, Panchayan FC Sunsari, Bindabasini FC Morang, Munal FC Jhapa, Dhrubatara FC Jhapa, Triveni FC Ilam, Red Star FC Jhapa and Swotantra FC Panchthar.
