Sunsari: 7th Bhaluwa Gold Cup Kicks Off

7th Bhaluwa gold cup got underway at Bhaluwa, Sunsari on Thursday.

Birtamod United FC defeated Udayapur XI 3-1 in the opening match.

Sumin Mainali (13'), Bikash Thulung (70') and Ramesh Gurung (79') scored apiece for the winners. Diwas Shrestha scored one for Udayapur.

Midfielder Yogesh Gurung became the man of the match and received Nrs 5,000 cash.

Red Horse Ilam will play against Golden Star on Friday.

Earlier Duhabi mayor Bed Narayan Ghacchadar inaugurated the championship.
