Kathmandu: Rose Bahini Chandragiri Gold Cup Kicks Off; JYC Stuns Nepal Army

Rose Bahini Chandragiri gold cup football tournament got underway at Purano Naikap, Kathmandu on Sunday.

Jawalakhel youth club stunned Nepal Army 1-0 to enter semifinals.

Foreign recruit Daniel Beze scored the match winner in 5th minute.

Nepal Army fielded B team with two senior players, Bharat Khawas and George Prince Karki.

Bishal Tamang became the man of the match and received Nrs 5,000 cash.

Friends club will play against Nepal APF on Monday.

Dip Sikha Yuwa samuha is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of Nrs 6 lakh.
