Sunsari XI defeated Nepal APF Club 3-0 to enter semifinals of Ruslan 9th Falgunanda Gold Cup at Phidim.

Nepal international Hemanta Thapa Magar scored a brace while Tirtha Basnet scored another for the winning side.

Two goal hero Thapa Magar became the man of the match. He received Rs 10,000 cash.

Birtamod United will take on hosts Phidim Sporting Club in the second quarterfinal match tomorrow.

Phidim sporting club is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of Rs 3 lakh.
