4th Mechinagar Gold Cup: Kakarvitta Stuns Dauphins To Enter QFs

4th Mechinagar gold cup got underway at Kakarvitta, Jhapa on Thursday.

Hosts Kakarvitta defeated Dauphins team 4-2 on penalties to enter quarterfinals.

Both teams played an exciting 2-2 draw in regulation time.

Onguene Jr scored both goals for Dauphins while Nagen Tamang scored two for Kakarvitta.



Two goal hero Nagen Tamang became the man of the match and received Nrs 11,000 cash.

Dharan FC will play against Chyasal youth club on Friday.

Kakarvitta football training centre is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of Nrs 10 lakh.
