Sports loving mayor of Bagmati municipality, Sarlahi Mr. Bharat Kumar Thapa has rewarded Bagmati Yuwa club with Nrs 50,000 for stunning A Division league side, Saraswoti youth club in 3rd Rajarshi Janak Cup, which started from today at Bagmati, Sarlahi.

Local side stunned Saraswoti youth club 3-1 to enter quarterfinals of the event. They will play against mighty Ruslan Three Star club in quarterfinals on Chaitra 27.

Mayor Thapa said he was proud of his boys.

"You have made us proud. I am appreciating your performance with Nrs 50,000", said Thapa while handing over the money to coach Sunil Shrestha and the players after the match.

Bagmati municipality is the main supporter of 3rd Rajarshi Janak Cup.

Bagmati yuwa club is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of Nrs 10 lakh.
