A 17-member(12 players and 5 officials) Nepal Futsal team left for Argentina this morning to take part in 12th AMF Futsal World Cup that will take place from March 31 to April 7 in Misiones, Argentina.

The squad: Samir Karki(GK), Sahil Rana, Dinesh Shrestha, Dipendra Rasaili, Sujan Balami, Bishal Thapa, Raju Budathoki, Anup Rana, Bardan Lama, Gaurab Shrestha, Sanjib Tamang and Grijesh Man Shrestha.

Nepal received wild card to take part in the championship.

Nepal will kick off campaign taking on Canada on April 1. They will play next against Catalonia and France on April 2 and April 3 respectively.

16 teams;Oceania (1), America (6) Europe (6 ), Asia (2) and Africa (1); are divided into four group with four teams in each group.

Nepal are grouped with Catalonia, Canada, France in group D.

Top two teams from the group will advance to quarterfinals.

Semifinals are scheduled on April 6. Final will be played on April 7.
