News Nepal Coach Johan Kalin: We Want To Play For A Win Against Kuwait

Nepal's new coach Johan Kalin said he would start career with Nepal with a win when they would take on Kuwait tomorrow at Al Shabab sports stadium at 9:15 PM NST.

Kuwait has invited Nepal to play 2-match friendly series scheduled on March 21 and March 25.

Speaking in pre-match conference, coach Kalin said, "This is very important series for us. Nepalese football has a long way to go. Kuwait is our first step. We will play for a win".

Kalin was appointed the head coach for two years last month.

"We have had short preparation. I am sure we will do good against Kuwait. The opponent is new for us", added Kalin.

Kuwait coach Romeo Jozak said that matches against Nepal were very important to them.

"Kuwait football is returning to its original shape. These matches are very important for us. We have had short preparation but we are confident of winning the matches", said Jozak.

Kuwait was out of international football for almost two years due to internal turmoil and FIFA intervention. FIFA lifted the ban in December 2017.
