Five games have been played in the 6th edition of Sangam Cup Football competition on Tuesday.

In the first game, APF lost to B13 side 3-1. Gobin KC scored in 35th minute and Navaraj Gurung scored in 55th an 63rd minute. For APF, Suraj Hamal scored in 53rd minute. With this defeat, APF crashed out from pre-quarterfinals.

Meanwhile, the host Sangam Club has also reached the quarterfinal with a win over Hemja United. Sangam Club won the game 1-0, where Bimal Rana scored the winning goal. Sangam will now play against Garden FC in quarterfinals.

In third game, Damside Club thrashed Milan Tole by 5-0 with the help of hat-trick scored by man of the match, Sunil BK. The other goal scorers were Anil Gurung and Prabin Saiju.

LG Association won the fourth game against Sital Jyoti by 6-1. Bishow Gurung and Ajit Gurung scored brace each for the winning side. Siddhartha Ranjit and Kiran Ranabhat also added one each for winning side. Kisan Gurung scored a consolation for Sital Jyoti.

Sahara Club also won their match against Butwal’s Farsatikar Academy by 4-0. Sahara started the game with four foreign players on the field, and Henry scored twice utilizing the chances. Bijay Shrestha and Tridev Gurung scored a piece for winning side.

Quarterfinal matches will commence from tomorrow. Sangam will face Garden FC, Bhadrakali will play against B13, Dyamside will face LG Association and Ranjan Memorial will play against Sahara Club.
