Nepal Army Club entered semifinals defeating 10-man Nepal APF Club in the second quarterfinal match of 4th Jhapa Gold Cup at Domalal Rajbanshi stadium on Tuesday.

Tanka Basnet scored the opening goal while Nawayug Shrestha and Santosh Tamang scored apiece for the winners. 

Midfielder Santosh Tamang became the man of the match and received Nrs 15,000 cash.

Ruslan Three Star Club will take on Nepal Police Club in the third quarterfinal match tomorrow.

Jhapa gold cup organizing committee is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of Nrs 12,50,000.
