Australia Nepalese Football Association (ANFA) has joined hands with All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) for the development of grassroots football program in Nepal.
President of Australia ANFA, Mr. Bijen Batajoo and president of ANFA Mr. Karma Tsering Sherpa signed in an Mou in a program organized at ANFA complex on Sunday.
According to the deal, ANFA Australia will provide Nrs 2 lakh to ANFA. Nrs 1 lakh will be given to ANFA Kaski and remaining money will be spent in another district.
"This is just a start. We want to do more and help ANFA to achieve success in grassroots development program. There are many passionate fans in Australia who want to do something for the country. We will increase our support in coming days", said Batajoo.
ANFA president Sherpa thanked ANFA Australia for the support.
"We need support from Nepali diaspora for the development of Nepalese football", said Sherpa.
ANFA is running grassroots development program in 45 districts. Earlier, Sahara UK also pledged support to ANFA for the program.
