News ANFA Bids Farewell To Nepal Women’s Team

All Nepal Football Association(ANFA) bade farewell to Nepal national women’s team today at ANFA Complex, Satdobato.

The team is traveling to Bhubaneshwor, India to play 4-nation tournament that is scheduled on 7-17th, February, 2019.

They will hold a week long training camp in Jhapa before heading towards India. ANFA said that the team would leave for Jhapa on January 30.

South Korea FA President Chung Mong-gyu and ANFA President Karma Tsering Sherpa extended their best wishes to the team.

The KFA President also presented 897 pairs of football shoes to ANFA in the program.

Nepal has been drawn in Group ‘A’ of the SAFF Women’s Championship alongside Bangladesh, Bhutan and Pakistan.

SQUAD:

Goalkeepers: Anjana Rana Magar, Usha Nath, Anjila Tumbapo Subba.

Defenders: Hira Kumari Bhujel, Gita Rana, Punam Jargha Magar, Amrita Jaishi, Kabita Dhimal, Sunita Chaudhary, Puja Rana, Man Maya Limbu.

Midfielders: Bimala Chaudhary, Anita Basnet, Dipa Rai, Manjali Kumari Yonjan, Sharmila Thapa, Saru Limbu, Renuka Nagarkote, Anita KC.

Forwards: Anu Lama, Rekha Poudel, Niru Thapa (C), Sabitra Bhandari.
