Kathmandu: Shankharapur Mayor Cup Kicks Off

Shankarapur mayor cup football tournament got underway on Friday.

Ward number 6 played 1-1 draw against ward number 2 in the opening match.

Nine wards are taking part in the event.

The winners will get Rs 1 lakh while runners up team will get Rs 50,000.

Earlier, former PM Madhav Nepal inaugurated the championship.
