Nepal women's team coach Hari Khadka has congratulated his girls for making it to second round of Asian olympic qualifiers.

Nepal secured its spot in the second round after becoming one of the best third placed teams in the qualifiers. Nepal collected three points in three matches. India & Myanmar have also secured their spots to the second round.

Palestine is another team to go through as one of the best third placed teams.

Khadka said, "Our target was to go through to the second round and we did it. I would like to thank my coaching staffs, players and ANFA".

Nepal will now join four group winners and runners up along with Uzbekistan and Vietnam in the second round.

Second round will be played next year in April.
